The Lower Keys are home to some of the most beautiful and private vacation rentals in the entire island chain — waterfront homes with docks, pools, and wide-open views. The only thing missing is a great restaurant nearby. We solve that.
Don't miss the historic Sugarloaf Key bat tower, one of the most unique landmarks in the Keys — built in 1929 to attract bats for mosquito control. It's a quirky piece of Keys history just minutes from some of our favorite rental properties.
We stayed on Sugarloaf Key and there was nowhere to eat nearby. Having a private chef come to us was the highlight of our entire trip. The snapper was caught that morning and dinner was incredible.
